It’s a season of hope for the Zamfara indigenes as the government donates 50 hectares of land for a new affordable housing estate. With this donation, the Zamfara indigenes will now have access to homes at an affordable price.
According to the state government, the land will be given for free and used to build Renewed Hope Estate. “This donation is part of our efforts to reduce the unavailability of affordable housing for the citizens.
It is also to provide proper accommodation for the citizens of the states,” the state’s government official says.

At the meeting in Abuja, Dangiwa disclosed some of the ministry officials’ plans for Zamfara. He mentioned that ministry officials have decided to secure unsold housing units in Zamfara under the National Housing Program.
This is to support the government’s initiative to provide affordable housing estate for Zamfara residents.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Dangiwa, also disclosed that ministry officials are actively engaging with the Zamfara state team. This collaboration will make the plans of buying unsold homes in the state a success.
Furthermore, Dangiwa mentioned that the prices of the units have already been reduced. And additional cuts might be made to make the homes even more affordable.
Zamfara Would Benefit From the PULAKU Housing Project
Nigeria’s president, Bola Tinubu, has established the PULAKU Housing Project to address issues in the North West, especially those affecting the Fulani clan.
According to Governor Uba Sani, the Housing Project aims to build schools, homes, and hospitals. Luckily for Zamfara State, they would be benefiting from this initiative says Dangiwa.
While at the meeting, Governor Dare pleaded that the ministry officials should make conclusions about their agreement to help buy unsold housing units in Zamfara faster.
His appeal is based on the various challenges the Zamfara government is experiencing. These challenges include insufficient infrastructure, limited number of houses, and insecurity.
According to Dare, providing affordable housing would help ease the state’s financial problems.
“Due to these current challenges, Zamfara state should be given the topmost preference in all the housing projects,” Dare added.
After his remarks, the ministry officials promised again to work together to provide good and affordable housing for Zamfara residents.
